I came across this easy tutorial to make contact microphones. (http://home.earthlink.net/~erinys/contactmic.html). Since assembling one i have done quite a few tests and prototypes. here are too of the first childish attempts. (everything else is too exclusive:) I sampled myself playing both of them.(link to song below) I am really enjoying this process of capturing mechanical sounds and basing a composition on them. As well as creating multi-instrument instruments contained in one housing and being able to produce a whole, full sounding, layered song with just that one instrument(s). This grouping of tasks has consumed my interest and will be probobly consuming my life for a while. so i should be making lots more of these instruments as well as songs to go along with them. drums and horns are next.......
